Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations
On June 12th, 2016, Croscombe came together for a Royal celebration – the Queen’s 90th Birthday. We celebrated in the best way we know, which was to bake cakes and drink tea (and the odd glass of wine/beer/cider). Our celebration was a special tea party which began with a Children’s Kings and Queens parade, a 90 cakes for 90 years village challenge and cake auction. There was a competition for the most Royal cake! 150 people came together to celebrate this special occasion. We raised £415 on the day which will be put towards the village hall renovation fund.
